As you can see, we installed a little USB fan on one side (directly behind the PC and printer fan). In my experience, sometimes a photo booth needs to be operational for more than 24 hours, so you shouldn’t risk overheating when you can get these small, functional USB fans for less than $15. On the bottom we installed a 250v rocker switch power socket, as the advantage of these switches is that if somebody trips on the power cable, the photo booth doesn’t fall over. These days people love photo booths and once you have set it up it works — and pays — for itself. I found various plans and tutorials, but in my opinion, none of them had a good purchase list or a really good manual.

Some models will look like their the latest version when in fact subtle changes have been made to newer versions that might not be as apparent. Remember these are just small businesses creating these booths and their having to be agile and adapt their product line to keep up with improvements. Since most manufacturers don’t provide model numbers you may have to figure out when they purchased the booth or contact the manufacturer directly to verify differences. Not trying to steer you altogether away from buying a used photo booth. Several people get into this and circumstances happen where they no longer need or want the photo booth. In those cases it might be an ideal situation to buy used especially if it’s one of the latest versions on the market.
They had created a rather elaborate PVC structure to hold the fabric, but you could just as easily tape fabric or paper to the wall. Interestingly, you need much less fabric or paper than you would think. I think you would be more than safe with an area covering about 5 feet high and about 8-10 feet wide. If you’re super fancy, white seamless paper on a proper stand would be very lovely. I’d suggest trying this out before investing a lot on gear though, since you can do it very simply!
